Project Manager – Waste Management Operations

We’re seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to lead waste management, wastewater treatment, and energy recovery projects across multiple Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end project execution — from planning and installation to operations and maintenance — ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and monitor large-scale waste management and energy projects.

  • Coordinate with municipal authorities, vendors, and technical teams.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.

  • Prepare and present project progress reports and technical documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

  • Identify process improvements and promote sustainable practices.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Project Management.

  • 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure or environmental project management.

  • Proven track record in handling ULB or government projects.

  • Strong knowledge of solid waste, wastewater, or energy systems.

  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.


Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD tools.

  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multitask efficiently.

  • Familiarity with government project documentation and tendering processes.
